Growing up in rural Iowa, I was surrounded by agriculture, livestock, and the kind of scenery that makes this place feel like home. From an early age, I dreamed of owning a business, but I also grew up listening to stories of family farms from both my parents and grandparents. Those stories, along with countless hours showing livestock and helping with whatever needed done around the farm, shaped who I am today.

I was fortunate to grow up with two family farms less than a mile apart. Those farms weren’t just where we worked—they were where memories were made, traditions were passed down, and a deep appreciation for agriculture took root.

In 2020, while working as a horse farrier and operating Top T Equine, I unexpectedly found my way into the sign business. That business soon became Top T. Before long, I added custom apparel, then expanded into screen printing, DTF transfers, and eventually embroidery. What started as one opportunity quickly became a passion for creating quality products for businesses, families, and communities.

When it came time to move on from the Top T name, my mom suggested something that immediately felt right: Thees & Feld Co.

The name comes from my last name, Theesfeld, but it carries a deeper meaning. “Thees” is pronounced like tees, while “Feld” is intentionally spoken like field—a tribute to the Iowa fields, the farms, and the agricultural heritage that have always been part of my life.

Thees & Feld Co. is more than an apparel company. It’s a reflection of where I come from and the people who inspired me. It’s built on hard work, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the families who work from sunrise to sunset to feed our communities.

Every exclusive collection we create is inspired by the people and places that make the Midwest special. It’s our way of celebrating the farmers, ranchers, and rural communities whose dedication often goes unseen—but whose work touches every table in America.
